Sellers receive a complimentary service agreement with 2-10 HBW until closing if you commit to purchasing the home warranty service agreement for the buyer. When you hand over the keys to your home, the buyer will receive the service agreement, which begins at the close of the sale and continues for one year from that date. In the meantime, if issues arise during the listing period, you may submit a claim by contacting 2-10 HBW. An independent service contractor will be dispatched to complete the service request. As the seller, you are obligated to pay the service fee or the actual cost to repair and/or replace, whichever is less, for each separate service request. 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty Coverage
2-10 HBW’s Standard plan provides core coverage to protect the home’s essential systems and appliances, including air conditioning, kitchen appliances, fire and burglar alarms, the plumbing system, and much more. The Supreme plan includes all items covered in the Standard plan plus coverage for 40 additional items.
Their “Even If” Service Fee Guarantee is exclusive to 2-10 HBW. This policy means that even if an item is not eligible for coverage, and they dispatched a service contractor, reimbursement of the paid service fee may be requested. Also, if the same part that was serviced fails again within the duration of the service agreement, you will not be charged a new service fee.
