For some people, moving to a new state can be a stressful experience. But for others, like Susan Tillis, it can be the inspiration for a new career. When she moved to North Carolina over 20 years ago, Susan loved the Charlotte and Lake Norman region so much, she wanted to share it with others. A real estate career was the perfect fit.

Today, as branch leader of the Allen Tate Davidson office, Susan has the opportunity to share her experience and passion with both agents and clients. Her peers respect her as a warm, protective leader and a down-to-earth community volunteer who enjoys giving back. She's passionate about helping military families and heads The Susan M. Tillis Foundation to champion that cause.

When she's not busy working or volunteering in the community, Susan enjoys cooking, gardening, walking/hiking near Lake Norman and spending time with her husband Thom, children and two granddaughters.
