I have a master’s degree in Counseling and a Doctorate degree in Biblical Studies and have spent most of my life in the helping professions, first working in and running nursing homes, then later in private practice counseling and working as a life coach. My husband holds a contracting and home inspector’s license, so in the early 2000's, I became licensed as a real estate agent to “help” him. Together, my husband and I have spent the last twenty years buying investment property, “fixing up” rentals, and flipping homes.
As a result of my background in counseling, being a real estate agent for me is much more than selling houses. I see each person as someone I can assist towards living his or her best life.
In my book, “As a Man Thinks: How to Change Your World by Changing Your Thoughts” https://www.amazon.com/As-Man-Thinks-Changing-Thoughts/dp/1541322819 , I talk about the fact that you can achieve anything you envision. Whether you are interested in investment property, flipping houses, finding the perfect place to call home, or selling your property to make the most profit, let me use my experience with real estate to help you reach your goals.
Having lived in the Triad my entire life, I feel a strong connection to the land, and its people. Currently, I live with my husband, two sons, two dogs (a Yorkie, and a German Shepherd mix that we rescued from the pound), a cat, four goats, and sixty chickens on my dream - a mini-farm. Besides maintaining a small farm, my family also enjoys kayaking, church, and trying to play golf.
Whether you are selling your house to downsize or up-size, or buying the home of your dreams, I would like to help you navigate the transition. As a real estate agent, I want to be more than just a person who helps you buy and sell property; I also want to partner with you to help you achieve your vision.
