I had the pleasure of working side by side with Rick on the main Interbank FX desk at Citibank. Rick was more than just a good trader. He was someone you enjoyed working with even when the stress level was high and everything was going against you. He was a team player even when his incentives were otherwise.
I worked with Rick on several community outreach projects in the Mt Pleasant Township/Hickory area. Rick was dedicated to the betterment of the township and surrounding areas, going so far as to wade into social media platforms for the community. This platform was used to open communication for the area as well as taking the time to try to identify what businesses the community felt a need for. He worked hard to try to address needs in the community and connect development with those needs.
I have known Rick for 25+ years, he has a strong background in finance and commercial real estate, combined with his impeccable integrity, makes him a great resource for anyone seeking a new home in North Carolina's RTP area
I had the pleasure of working with Richard in the town that I manage. He is very active in the community and always takes the opportunity to give back to the community in which he lives and works.
I had the opportunity to meet and deal with Richard on numerous occasions. I have always found him to be of top notch character. He is very active in the community and continuously tries to improve the quality of life for everyone he meets. I consider him to be an asset to any community he is involved with.
State Rep. Jason Ortitay
I've known Rick since my initial run for the PA State House of Representatives in 2014. We have worked together on many projects including his HTTV community TV station. This station, which has only been in existence for a few years has helped promote PSA’s (e.g. MPT sewage project), township and planning commission meetings, local high school football games, local business and fundraising events. Rick has continuously offered his time and resources to promote local business and industry in the heart of the Marcellus shale region. I have also welcomed his invitation to speak before the local Lions International club, which Rick was president for the 2014-15 years. I enjoy working with people who are community minded, high energy, and creative and that is how I would describe Rick.
I’ve known Rick Walsh for about 10 years. As Washington County (Pa) Commissioner I have seen his visionary qualities at work. He helped to revitalize Main St. in Hickory (Mount Pleasant TWP, Pa.) by developing a Subway restaurant, and attracting Mount Pleasant Twp’s first fortune 500 company (Dollar General). He has also partnered with Hickory Telephone to create HTTV (Hometown Television). A community station dedicated to local content, ranging from local school events to Township proceedings to promote transparency. Along with his service as President of our local Lions Club, these two successful projects are emblematic of Rick’s determination, business acumen and sense of community.
I have known Richard for many years and can attest to his professionalism and dedication to his work. He has worked tirelessly on many community and business development projects that have enriched our neighborhood and positioned if for further growth. I highly recommend Richard and know he will succeed in Real Estate endeavors.
I got to know Rick through his community involvement in Mt. Pleasant Township, specifically in the Hickory area. He was a business owner who worked hard to make the area a better place. Through his efforts, he was able to bring a food and retail franchise into town giving the residents access to things they would always have to travel for. He also lobbied hard in the community for expanded police services and worked with township officials to achieve that. Rick, would allow access to his social media platforms or business marques to promote community events, advise of traffic issues, help find lost pets and even wishing local people "Happy Birthday". He is very dedicated to his community and even though he has moved from Pennsylvania, he still checks in to see if we need anything or if there is any way that he could help.
I have been friends with Rick Walsh going on 15 years now. We were in the Lions Club together for the better part of that time. Rick demonstrated a great deal of pride in his community and was a tireless promoter of ways to improve the community and foster a similar commitment in us all. I served as president of the local volunteer fire department for several years and could always count on Rick to help with the yearly Apple Festival that accounted for 60-70% of our annual fund raising efforts. In short, I found Rick to be someone that I can trust.
Richard and I worked together on several occasions and on several specific projects in a service organization, during his several years as a business owner and civic leader in Hickory PA. He is a community minded, ambitious, and trustworthy individual who can be counted upon to achieve results AND to inspire others to do the same. He held leadership positions while a member of that service organization, and won a very prestigious and exclusive award for his leadership while doing so - he is a Melvin Long Fellow of the International Lions Club. Richard never failed to give unselfishly of his time, talent, and treasure.
I met Rick about 7 years ago, and I can tell you that he is an absolutely amazing person. He has done so many great things for the Community over the years. I am on the Parks and Rec Board and we host children's events and he would always make generous donations for all of the children at these events. He truly is a great person and I'm sure that shows in his work ethics as well.
I've known Rick for over 50 years; basically a life-long friend. He has always amazed me in his ability to get things done and to make things happen. Whatever Rick goes into, I would bet on him being successful at it. No challenge is too big for him. As a licensed Realtor myself and a former part-owner of a Keller Williams office, I'm even more confident in his real estate business. One of the keys to making real estate business happen is creating and maintaining relationships. This is one of Rick's specialties-even back in high school, he knew **everybody**! (And we went to a BIG school.) Whenever I can't remember someone's name or my recollection of an incident is fuzzy, I call Rick and he's got all the information right away. He gets stuff done; he makes stuff happen; he's also a great guy.
Rick is laser focused on maximizing return on shareholder investment. Whether you are a buyer or a seller, he will be focused on getting you the best value. Having worked with Rick on his commercial investment properties, I know how passionate he is about real estate and knowing everythig possible about the local market and the trends affecting those markets. As serious as Rick is about completing transactions... he is still fun to work with and maintains his sense of humor throughout the process.
Rick (Ricky to me) and I have been friends since 3rd grade. To me, his defining characteristic is his huge heart. He cares about people. He has many friends because he makes the effort and he is reliable. He is intelligent, organized and easygoing but focused. My mom was a real estate broker and I bought and sold many properties and I have a pretty good idea of what it takes to be a good realtor. I know Rick has what it takes to be great and anyone who chooses to retain him will be making a wise choice. Plus, they will get a friend as a bonus. You simply can’t not want to be his friend.
Richard has been my family's realtor for the last 6 months. Richard has worked tirelessly with us to find residential investment properties in the Raleigh, NC area. We have looked at hundreds of properties online with the help of Richards refined searches and our detailed list of requirements; we've looked at more than a dozen properties in person and he is always prompt and prepared with comps and property details.Throughout the process we submitted offers on two properties. The first property was a townhome in N. Raleigh and our offer was accepted. Questions about the HOA came up and Richard went to work researching; with his investigation and persistence to get us answers he found the HOA was a possibly criminal but definitely negligent. The complex was a sinking ship and my husband and I pulled our offer. It was because of Richards efforts that we avoided what could have been a huge financial misstep. On the second property Richard was able to show it to us the first day it hit the market and with a "best and final" offer deadline hours away he worked expeditiously to get our offer in for consideration. We will continue to use Richard as our agent for future personal and investment real estate needs. He is very responsive and our priorities are always his; he is detail oriented, knowledgeable and easy to work with.
Everything was just Great.
I would go through Allen Tate for any of my future needs for sure!
I would never consider using anyone else! Rick took care of everything and was extremely fast doing so! He made this a seamless process and kept in constant contact. I had no idea buying a home could be so easy!
