Since Melissa Michos moved to Greensboro to attend UNCG, she’s served as a strong advocate for her city, working to enhance its arts scene (“as manager of Janus Theatres, my first job, I think I saw every movie that came out in the 80s!”); taking advantage of the area’s kayaking, backpacking, cycling and running opportunities; and doing her part to boost her neighborhood’s economy. “From my home in Lindley Park, the proximity to the Corner can’t be beat—I’m a frequent patron of all the restaurants and businesses,” she says.
As an agent with Bill Guill and Associates, Melissa specializes in the Lindley Park and the Sunset Hills neighborhoods, and loves guiding her clients through the process of finding their dream home—a home that meets their needs and fits their budget so that they, too, can settle in and grow to love and give back to their Greensboro community.
“I’ve found it easy to build a social network here over the years,” Melissa says. “I enjoy the diversity of the area, and I find the people I meet to be warm and friendly.”
Prior to joining Allen Tate in 2018, Michos befriended many of Greensboro’s citizens through jobs as manager of Spring Garden Bakery and Coffee House (2005-2017), and of Blue Ridge Mountain Sports, a specialty outdoor retailer in Friendly Shopping Center where she served as manager from 1990-1998.
