When I gaze at Blue Ridge panoramas, an image of “home” instantly comes to mind. The town where I grew up in the northern region of Jordan bears a striking resemblance to the lush, green, alpine views that the High Country offers to visitors and locals alike.
It was in Jordan where my love for nature conservation and photography blossomed. My work with nongovernmental organizations such as Save the Children, BirdLife International, World Wildlife Fund, the Royal Society for Nature Conservation, and the International Youth Foundation afforded me countless opportunities to travel and meet with diverse individuals from around the globe.
It was in the North Carolina mountains, however, where I would marry my lovely wife and introduce our two children to the natural wonders that abound throughout the area. I have ventured across the United States as a photographer, capturing ephemeral glimpses of natural beauty, but it was here that I developed a solid vision of a career that unites passion with practicality.
A house that merges with a landscape; a home that melds into a family’s dreams realized. This is the inspiration that drives me within the field of real estate.
My hope for each of my clients is that they find a place to rest their tired feet at the end of the day -- here in the High Country -- because, with Allen Tate, We are home.®
