Rob & Mel Santiago
"Proud to be at your service." A quote used by Lisa Chrystie many times over during our adventure in purchasing our new home. That quote is an accurate depiction of Lisa's style as she demonstrated her dedication to us by consistently putting us first and helping us throughout the entire home purchasing experience. Her 30 years of restaurant experience was evident to us the moment we met in person as her "customer service" skills were bar none and it was just what we needed to help quell those "heartburn" moments that come with the home purchasing experience. It can be a stressful process at times for a variety of reasons and Lisa gave no doubt that she served as our advocate and was an excellent resource to ease away the stress. Lisa took the time to communicate effectively and followed-up on items very quickly. We often wondered if Lisa was gifted with Extrasensory Perception (ESP) as she would often provide an answer to anticipated questions. This is how “in tuned” she was with us as her clients. As Lisa eluded to in her Allen Tate Realtors bio, she was relentless in understanding her client’s needs, she provided immediate attention to pressing matters, and she worked diligently to resolve any issues that arose, all of which made our home purchasing experience a fantastic experience. We were more than pleased with the end result and we highly recommend Lisa to proudly serve as your Real Estate Agent!! Thank you Lisa for everything!! You rock!! Rob, Mel and Da Kiddos!!
I was introduced to Lisa to have an area tour of Winston-Salem through the company I was having an on-site interview for. My afternoon extravaganza with Lisa was absolutely wonderful! She is one of the most pleasant ladies I have met, she knows the area through and through including some great local hang out spots, and she genuinely cares about you and what you're looking for! If you have the opportunity to work with Lisa for your renting/real-estate needs, she will take great care of you.
There are really no words that would adequately describe the experience we had with Lisa as our realtor. In January, my boyfriend and I began to search for a realtor to help us with the home buying process. I have known Lisa's oldest daughter for years, and given the fact that Lisa had only recently started working in real estate, I was skeptical about whether or not our personal relationship and her status as a beginning realtor would be a problem, but we decided to give it a try. Lisa was an absolute blessing to the both of us from beginning to end. She took us as seriously as she would any new client, and was invested one-hundred percent in finding us a home. At our first meeting, when we signed with Lisa to be our Buyers Agent, I clearly remember her saying "If I cant find you a house in 6 months, you need to fire me." Lisa would end up finding us a home less than a month after our first meeting. While our personal relationship was an added bonus, I am completely confident that Lisa would go above and beyond for any of her clients. Any house we were interested in, Lisa was on it. She set up showings as soon as we asked for them, and even canceled the ones we just didn't feel right about. She gave exactly the right amount of opinion on each of the houses we looked at, but did not try and sway us one way or the other. When the first listing we fell in love with went under contract before we could even see it, she consoled me and assured the both of us that this was just a small roadblock. She would call us at 7 am with information, as well as answer the phone at 9 at night if we needed her. She always made sure we were feeling okay and weren't too stressed out. She met with us countless times at ANY location and ANY time that was convenient for us to go over all of our questions (even if she had already answered them 10 times), and was in contact with me every day, multiple times a day through phone calls, texts, and emails to make sure we were happy and getting the information we needed. When we finally decided to put in an offer on our current home, Lisa was calm, assuring, and determined to get us our house. Even during the "waiting game" of our loan being processed, Lisa was still in touch with us daily. She was at every single inspection, and scheduled them around our hectic schedules no matter what time of day they needed to happen at. She made multiple copies of every sheet of paper that crossed through our hands and made extra sure we had everything we needed. Any bump in the road that appeared, Lisa was there to move us over it. She had all of the information and ability I would have expected out of someone who had been in the industry ten times longer than her. If she didn't know something, she was on the phone before we could even blink, finding out. She gave us information about local yard sales and previous clients that were getting rid of furniture during our own furniture hunt, and looked for specific items that I wanted for my home. When closing day finally rolled around, you could tell she was just as excited for us as we were, if not more. She had prepared us for this day the entire time she was our agent, and as we were walking into our attorneys office, we agreed that none of what had been done during the last two months could have happened without Lisa. No other realtor could have done this as immaculately as her. Closing took less than an hour, and we were given the keys to our new home. Even after closing, as we were moving in, Lisa went by Lowes to check out refrigerators and put one on hold for us to pick up later. As I've said, Lisa is a true blessing. Anyone, whether this is their first or tenth time buying a home needs to have Lisa as a realtor. Not only was she juggling our crazy process at the time, but also had several other clients as well. Lisa makes you feel like you are the only person on the earth she is concerned about, and dedicates SO much of her time to her clients. Honestly, I was sad to see the entire process come to a close. (Pun not intended) If ever in the future we decide to move, there is no question about who I'm calling. Use her. Use her. Use her. I cannot stress what an easy going and wonderful experience you will have with Lisa as your realtor. If you're thinking about buying or selling, DO NOT pass an opportunity as fantastic as having Lisa by your side up. Our gratitude for her is incomprehensible. You will never regret choosing her to be your advocate, your assistant, your negotiator, your furniture finder, and so, so, so much more.
I have bought and sold many properties through the years, and have had a variety of experiences working with real estate agents. Lisa Chrystie brings a very unique blend of professionalism, intense listening, personal integrity and human warmth to the table. I have never felt so taken care of by a real estate agent before. I always felt her primary focus and interest, was in MY best possible outcome. Lisa goes WELL above and beyond in her attention to detail and responsiveness to communication. And she is the ONLY real estate agent to ever give me the perfect house warming gift of a delicious handmade double crusted chicken pie. That pie came in very handy after we were all exhausted from moving and simply wanted to collapse and eat something warm and comforting. Lisa is, quite simply, a wonderful human being.
We began working with Lisa when she filled in for another associate. Our experience with her was absolutely wonderful! She is passionate and knowledgeable about her work and extremely patient with picky clients!! Her schedule was flexible and she never hesitated to do what was best for us. We were very pleased to have this experience with her!
Recently I had the opportunity to work with Lisa, not as a Buyer or Seller, but as a Realtor. From the first showing to the closing, I was impressed by her professionalism, positive attitude, attention to detail, and untiring efforts to find creative solutions to unexpected issues that come up in a transaction. If I was not an agent, but needed the expertise and counsel of an agent, there is no doubt who I would call. It was a pleasure to work with you Lisa… Rick
