It is my pleasure to tell you of my experience with Deb Holloman. In the fall of 2007, my husband and I found ourselves facing an unexpected transfer to the Charlotte area. We found ourselves beginning at the Lake Wylie Library, where the librarian directed us to a local realty office. The first smiling face we met was Deb's. We had very limited time to purchase a home due to my husband's job relocation. Our relocation company set us up with the Allen Tate team; Jill Alcala and Debra Holloman and it was like we hand picked them ourselves. My experience with Debra and Jill from Tate Realty was professional, exceptional and seamless. I live in California and was faced with the challenge of selling my mother's home in South Carolina. I have never lived in SC and I was a bit concerned until I met Jill and Debra. From day one of meeting these agent's to the closing of the home, they were professional and incredibly supportive and resourceful. They knew their market and what the house was going to sell for...and it did... We put the home on the market in September and it sold in January. Jill and Debra were exceptional agents as they went above and beyond to assist me in finding a reputable contractor to fix the home, an attorney to handle my legal obligations and were in constant contact with me to inform me of the feedback from each showing. I was concerned that fall would be a tough time to sell as it is around the holidays and the appearance is less approachable; dark and stark vs. lush and green...much better in the spring.. The home showed no less than 5/6 times as a result of my agents updates on various sites and their various internal networking resources. Jill and Debra kept an eye on the upkeep of the home to make certain it was always in good showing condition. They went out to meet the structural engineer for me as I could not be there to physically show him what work had to be done per the inspector. When the buyer presented himself, they wanted to move in within 2 weeks with a particular date in mind. At that point and from the beginning, Debra and Jill went into overdrive, working diligently to get all paperwork, attorney dates, walk through dates, the other agents particulars in order....and they did so seamlessly. I physically met with them 3 times. The first was the introduction, secondly to exchange paperwork and thirdly was to sign the closing documents. As I said above, professional in the way they knew their market and their resources on tap, exceptional in their support and constant communication of the sale and seamless on how they closed the deal all the way down to driving me to the attorneys office to sign over the home. The only regret is they are not here in California to help me buy my next home....
