Debbie Hopper joined Allen Tate as a relocation counselor in 2021, following a 35-year career in long-term healthcare administration.
She began her career at her family’s 119-bed skilled/assisted living facility and continued to work with SanStone Health when the business was purchased. She held positions including administrator, executive operations assistance and executive director.
Debbie’s experience in helping the senior population transition to skilled care and retirement community living provides her with expertise for helping relocating clients move to another phase of their lives.
She holds a bachelor of arts from Catawba College in Salisbury, NC. An active community volunteer, Debbie has worked with the Cherryville Chamber of Commerce, Cherryville High School Education Foundation, Small Town Main Street Committee, Cherryville Little Theater, local PTO boards and is an active member of First Baptist Church in Cherryville.
A Gaston County native, Debbie and her husband make their home in Cherryville. They have three children. She enjoys theater, reading and traveling with her family, and she is currently pursuing yoga certification training with the Asheville Yoga Center.
