I am Tina Whitley and for over thirty five years I have lived, raised three children, worked and played in the State of North Carolina. In 2016 I joined the Allen Tate Company after being the Executive Director of the Matthews Chamber of Commerce for over thirteen years and in the banking industry before that. My extensive knowledge of the area neighborhoods, new developments, history, planning and zoning, events and schools will allow me to help you whether you are buying, selling or just checking out the area.
Originally from the Washington DC area my family moved to Malibu in Southern California where I attended Pepperdine University and UCLA with a major in psychology. As an adult I have lived in California, Arizona, and North Carolina in Raleigh, Morehead City and the Charlotte area. If you are relocating, I have extensive experience with all of the details involved!
I have watched the real estate market in the state for over thirty five years and have personally lived in four different neighborhoods in the Charlotte area. My career in banking has spanned the country and as the Chamber Director and manager of the Visitor’s Center I have helped many families find their perfect neighborhoods, churches, activities for their children and have extensive knowledge of the sports activities throughout the region. My experience with Economic Development in the region including the surrounding counties is also invaluable.
Having served on the Board of Directors for the Charlotte Regional Visitors Association and Visit Charlotte (Charlotte’s Got a Lot) along with being involved in many local non-profits for people of all ages, any and all of your questions will be answered! If you are a senior and want information I am currently on the Board for the Senior Center and can help you with any needs you may have. I have three wonderful children and am blessed with two grandchildren!
If you are looking for someone to assist you with your real estate needs, please give me a call and I will be glad to help you!
