Pam McGlothlin is a Business Development Manager/Relocation Specialist with Allen Tate Relocation Services. Her primary responsibility is servicing corporate business. Much of her time is spent developing corporate business and informing corporate clients about services provided by Allen Tate Company. She creates unique packages of the services to fit the needs of each individual company or client. She also works with the Economic Development & Chamber of Commerce in her territory to help sale and present the region.
Prior to joining Allen Tate, Pam had a very successful career with Dictaphone Corporation starting as a young Sales Executive and working her way up the ranks to District Manager and Executive Healthcare Manager. During her years with Dictaphone Corporation Pam earned many awards including Sales Person of the year, District Sales Leader, Top Branch Manger, Top District Sales Manager! She grew the business in her territory from 30% to over 72%.
She has been active in the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce since 2001 where she works each year on their membership campaign, which raises over 4.8 million dollars for the Chamber. She is active in the Gaston, Cabarrus and Lake Norman Chambers of Commerce. In 2001, McGlothlin became a member of the Charlotte Metro Area Relocation Council and is an active member of the Gaston Economic Development. She is on the Board of Advisors for the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
In 1980, she received her Associates Degree in general studies from Eastern Arkansas Community College. She continued her education at Southwest Virginia Community College concentrating on marketing. In 1987, she completed training at the Successful Selling School in Atlanta, an advanced program that spans 4 years and encompasses all area of sales skills and training. She holds a Real Estate Brokers license with the state of North Carolina and is currently working on her Senior Designation.
McGlothlin and husband Mike enjoy traveling and spending time with their five children and four grandchildren. In her spare time, she also likes reading, golfing, dancing, exercising and gardening.
