As Public Relations Manager for the Allen Tate Company, I manage public relations, media relations, branding, and internal and external communications activities to support more than 1,400 Allen Tate Realtors® and the Allen Tate Family of Companies across the company’s footprint in North and South Carolina.
I serve as corporate spokesperson and liaison to all media outlets, and communication advisor to senior leadership, manager and Realtors® on media and communication issues. I am proud to represent one of the Carolinas’ most well-known and widely respected brands, and I strive to provide prompt, courteous response and exceptional customer service to meet the needs of both internal and external audiences.
Additionally, I write, edit and direct strategic content for Realtor and client-directed programs and services, publications, company websites, advertising and social media.
Prior to joining Allen Tate Company in 2007, I worked in marketing communications and public relations for more than 15 years, in corporate, agency and non-profit environments, with expertise in commercial construction, healthcare, tourism and small business. I have also worked as a newspaper reporter and freelance writer for national trade publications.
I earned my B.A. degree in communications from Bloomsburg University (Pa.) and completed master’s coursework at the Pennsylvania State University, where I coached the nationally ranked intercollegiate public speaking team. I am a graduate of Leadership Gaston and served as program manager for Leadership Vance.
My husband, Arthur, and I have four children and one grandson. We make our home in Union County.
