Joe is a Chapel Hill native. His family settled here in the mid 1700's, so one could say his roots go deep. His ability to quickly absorb necessary information, his organizational abilities and his systemized approach to projects have helped buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals.

Joe specializes in green, eco friendly homes, new construction as well as remodeling and retrofitting existing homes. In addition to his EcoBroker Certification, Joe holds the National Association of Realtor's GREEN designation. Joe is trained in understanding what makes a property green, helping clients evaluate the cost and benefits of green building features and practices, distinguishing between industry rating and classification systems, listing and marketing green homes and buildings, discussing the financial grants and incentives available to homeowners and helping consumers see a property's green potential.

When he's not helping clients, you'll find Joe hiking and camping in the NC Mountains or kayaking on the coast of NC. He is a member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and is planning to hike the entire length from Georgia to Maine.
