Jody Adams was born and raised in Gastonia. His family has deep roots in the area and was instrumental in the textile industry. As a boy, his family had a river cabin on Lake Wylie and split their time between Gaston and York counties. It was a great area for a kid to grow up. After graduating from Appalachian State and brief stint in Portland, Oregon, Jody moved back to the area. Since moving back he has become a husband, a father and for over a decade a dedicated Realtor.
