Meet Jeff Meister
Jeff Meister put down his police badge to pick up a North Carolina real estate license.
"Instead of looking for bad guys, I'm looking for the right house. It's a much better problem to have."
Jeff served on the Baltimore, Md., Police Department for seven years. He says what he likes about being a Realtor is he's still helping people. His law enforcement experience means he's a keen problem solver.
He and his wife were ready to move back to her home state of North Carolina. He fell in love with the city of Charlotte for its dog parks, the microbreweries and the amazing restaurant scene.
"It's like they built the town for me."
Jeff loves exploring his city, especially when it comes to finding great places to live.
"I find things other people haven't even seen. I can't sit still. I'm always out doing something."
The son of a Navy captain and native of Virginia Beach, Va., he has a personal understanding about the challenges and stresses that come with moving.
"I know how hard that is and moving to a new city. I enjoy introducing people to our town and helping them get settled in."
His advice to clients is to research agents and find the one who best fits them personally and professionally.
"Find someone you can trust through the process."
Jeff will guide buyers and sellers through the process with ease. He also is focusing on the rental market.
Jeff and Sarah live in Steele Creek and are expecting their first son in August. Until then, their Lab-terrier rescue dog, Maya, continues to run their life as they frequent local dog parks and Lucky Dog Bark & Brew. The Meisters love shopping at farmers markets and are always on the hunt for the next great restaurant.
