Greg Hero's passion has always been real estate, and happily that passion is now concentrated in his hometown community of Lake Norman.
Greg brings vast experience to his clients, with extensive knowledge in real estate and business at home and abroad. Prior to selling real estate, Greg held the title of Executive Director and Professor at George Mason University where he created the Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship.
Greg also spent 25 years in consulting, running large global organizations, allowing Greg and his family to experience living in Paris, Zurich and Frankfurt. His travels took him to six of the seven continents. The work was fascinating, but kept him away from home for many weeks at a time.
Now as a Realtor® in his hometown of Lake Norman, Greg is enjoying family, community and friends as he continues to assist buyers and sellers in the area with their real estate needs.
Photography was Greg's first passion. Greg first started taking pictures in 1977, and continues today. His photographs have been featured on MTV Teens Cribs, many High Schools (Langley in Virginia and Hough in Cornelius), numerous newspapers (from the Washington Post to our very own Peninsula Navigator), and hundreds of family living rooms. When it is time to relax, Greg and his family take advantage of the Carolina coasts (Kiawah Island is their favorite), snow skiing, and watching shoot-em-up movies. Greg and his wife Susan live in the Peninsula, and have four children: sons Andreas (21, a Junior at the University of Colorado) and Keenan (13, in the seventh grade at St. Mark's), and daughters Nikki (19, a Freshman at University of Georgia) and Devon (16, a Junior at Hough High School.)
