I’ve lived in North Carolina my whole life and wouldn’t choose any other place. I’ve now called Cary my home for 24 years, and I believe wholeheartedly that the rapidly growing triangle area is one of the best places to buy a home, both as a wonderful place to live and a smart investment. Not only do we have some of the best schools in the state, it also offers some of North Carolina’s best restaurants, shopping, parks, and entertainment. With my close familiarity with the area you will see the best locations we have to offer.

I joined Allen Tate to put my people skills to good use. I love making connections with people, being helpful and having fun and getting to know one another. Previously, I worked for 26 years in finance and operations for GlaxoSmithKline, where I gained extensive professional experience in making challenging financial decisions. Since buying a home will likely be your most important investment, I will be there with you throughout the process with careful guidance and a personal touch. I will make sure you fully understand every aspect of appraisals, inspections, and preparing your home for sale. Whether buying or selling, with my assistance you will extract the maximum value for your house.

In 1990, I built my own home in Chapel Hill and recently, my passion for beautiful homes inspired a total remodel of my current home. Both during the build and the remodel I worked closely with contractors to design every feature. This close attention to even the smallest of details will help you find the absolute best in the qualities you care about the most.

A little about me, I enjoy relaxing at my vacation home on Topsail Island, shopping, watching sports, reading a good book, and taking long walks with my dog Beau. I also love spending time with my family and friends. I have three sons, Jay, John, and Daniel. My eldest son Jay graduated from NC State and works in land development for Pulte Homes. Daniel graduated from Guilford College and now interns at Brasfield & Gorrie. John is studying mechanical engineering at NC State and will graduate in December 2016. They are all avid lacrosse players and sports fans.
