Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Wendy Hodel as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the company’s Statesville office at 117 North Center Street, Suite B, in historic downtown Statesville.

In her new role, Hodel will oversee branch operations and lead and grow a team of more than 15 Allen Tate Realtors® and staff.

Hodel is an award-winning Realtor® with more than 16 years of experience as an Allen Tate Realtor in the company’s Mooresville/Lake Norman office. She has earned numerous Allen Tate awards including Rookie of the Year and the Barbara Tate Legendary Service Award, as well as recognition as Office MVP, Client Relations Associate of the Year, Mortgage Partner of the Year and Insurance Partner of the Year. She is a licensed Realtor in both North and South Carolina, and holds distinctions including Certified Accredited Buyers Representative and Certified Graduate Realtor Institute and is a North Carolina Notary.

Prior to her real estate career, Hodel worked as a psychology counselor and HIV case manager. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and sociology from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill. and a masters of business administration degree from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo.

An active community volunteer, Hodel serves as vice president of the Parent-Teacher Organization at Northview IB School; and president of the Parent-Teacher Organization at Troutman Elementary School. She is a volunteer with Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love and a Booster Club leader for the dance team at the Kristie Phillips Athletic Center.
