It’s “Spooky Time” in the Carolinas
The air is getting crisper, the days are getting shorter, the colors of the leaves are beautiful and bright, and so it can only mean one thing is left on the calendar in October….timed to be spooked! Halloween arrives this week and many people love to find a good haunted house for that unique thrill of getting scared by things in the dark.
The Haunted House Association…yes, there is such an organization… selects 13 of the top picks for haunted houses around the country, chosen from among 2,200 such attractions. The Carolinas had one pick on this list, Kersey Valley Spooky Woods in Greensboro, NC. See the entire list of best haunted houses here.
Spooky Woods takes you on a 5-part journey:
1) Nightmare Haunted House – face your fears as you pass through the old farm house
2) Terror Tram – all aboard, hitch-hikers welcome…
3) Clown Town – wanna play?
4) Deadly Harvest – find your way through 10-foot corn and you are not alone…
5) Nyctohylophobia – I had to Google that term and it means “fear of being in the forest at night”…enough said…
Spooky Woods is located in the heart of the Triad between Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point, and convenient right off the highway 85.
You only have three more chances to being scared to death – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, October 29-31. Find out more details at www.spookywoods.com
