Barbara loves calling Raleigh home after being recruited as a marketing executive/officer of a publicly-held company and moving to the area in 2002. She previously had frequently traveled coast-to-coast on business and lived most of her adult life in Santa Monica, Los Angeles and New York. That said, she understands and has firsthand experience in relocating to a new community, its various challenges and the important role an attentive, resourceful realtor plays in helping with a smooth transition.

It was while she was purchasing a condominium as new construction in downtown Raleigh, that she became intrigued with residential real estate. In 2009, she became a North Carolina licensed real estate broker/Realtor®

Barbara is passionate about client care, believes "little things matter" and creates an extraordinary experience for both real estate buyers and sellers. When asked what she does, Barbara says she connects hearts with homes. She’s “got your back” as an agent and whether you are buying or selling, you can count on Barbara--her loyalty, knowledge, resourcefulness, integrity and trustworthiness. Plus, she has a system of processes that will assist you in making the best decisions for you and your loved ones.

And a little extra info on Barbara:
Her stay-at-home mother and father, a small business owner and volunteer fire chief, instilled in her the importance of contributing to the community and helping others. Barbara and her husband live Inside-The-Beltline in downtown Raleigh. They are avid foodies and support local charities, frequent museums and explore new happenings and development around Raleigh.

Barbara is a runner and has run marathons, raising funds for charity. She fashions herself as a part-time novice gardener and dutifully practices hot vinyasa yoga. Qualifying to run the Boston marathon is on her bucket list. She ticked off earning a scuba diving certification but parachuting was scribbled off the list!

Born and raised in an Iowa small town, Barbara is a dependable, resourceful, self-starter. She isn’t scared of work as evident through working 3 part-time jobs while in college to earn her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from the University of Northern Iowa. Barbara also earned a Graduate Gemologist Diploma from Gemological Institute of America and was a former gemology instructor.
