Robbin Richardson and Chip Edwards joined ranks in 2006, blending the experience and wisdom of the Mother with the energy and expertise of the Son to form "The Richardson Team", bringing you the best that the market can boast! Together, they have 24 years of real estate experience: Robbin serving 16 years with York Simpson Underwood, Chip immersed in the building/developing side of the business. What a PARTNERSHIP serving YOU!
Uncompromising knowledge of the Triangle area ~ never afraid to admit there is always something new springing up that even THEY don't know about! Always willing to find out EVERYTHING they can about whatever interests YOU!
Robbin values charm & uniqueness and often finds that for buyers, whether it be in a new or old home. She can help seller's stage their homes to maximize the return! It's not surprising that her home was on the cover of the N & O Living in Style Magazine, Nov. 2006 with a 7 page feature story showcasing her clever use of space and design.
Chip, with his construction background, has been indispensable to his clients looking at new homes, older homes and helping them evaluate material features. Sellers learn how to make their homes more marketable without spending unnecessarily. Buyers are made aware of features that might not be visible to the untrained eye. A REALTOR with a NC General Contractors License!
Buying/selling a home is often a family affair involving all members of a family. They are respectful of their customers' comforts and needs, realizing that spending many hours together in a car can be exhausting for the un-experienced! Being interrupted at dinner time for a house showing is an imposition. They will balance the seriousness of the process with a light-hearted attitude.
Their knowledge of the Triangle has been enhanced by their involvement in the community.
Currently, Robbin is on the board and Treasurer of Haywood Hall, one of Raleigh's historic properties, a fundraiser for the Visual Art Exchange and a member/participant of the Wake Forest Artists Studio Tour. Chip is an active member of the Rotary Club as well as an enthusiastic sports fan.
Robbin lived in Nebraska, Virginia, Maryland, Florida and western NC before making her home in the Triangle. She understands the relocation concerns of moving to a new area and the anxiety of not knowing the neighborhoods, schools and the amenities of the area. Her knowledge of the area and understanding of your situation will be a benefit to you.
We recognize that home buying is a family affair involving all members of a family, and being family ourselves (Mother and Son), we relate well with all ages. We are ever mindful of our customers comforts and needs realizing that spending many hours together in a car can be exhausting for the unexperienced!
And finally, the ability to problem solve effectively is crucial in this business. Like defensive driving, they try to be proactive to alleviate potential troubles. "Ya gotta watch out for the other guy!!" But despite their winning ways they can't avoid every problem. But they'll handle them as PAINLESSly, PRODUCTIVEly and PROFESSIONALly as they POSSIBLY can!!!
