Property Scout

The Property Scout is a unique feature to help you discover the variety of properties in a given area. It automatically analyzes all properties within a current view area and displays statistics, including number of properties for sale, minimum and maximum price, and average number of bedrooms and baths. When more than 200 properties are available, Property Scout will display a representative sample of properties at the calculated median price point.

This feature is turned ON by default and allows you to interact with TateMap without entering any criteria. Turn it OFF to control your criteria manually. You can select information such as number of bathrooms and price range to filter your results.

Display Recent Sales

Recent sales data^* helps you understand recent market activity and pricing. By default, recent sales are displayed when you zoom in to an area at a 600- yard scale (or less).

To display recent sales, hover on any active property (red push pin) and select “center on map with recent sales”^*. This will center the selected property on the map and change the map scale to 600 yards. Recent sales will appear as grey push pins.

^*Sales information is only available in markets approved by the local MLS association. Data in other areas will be added as it becomes available.

Smart Zoom

Know where you want to look at homes? The Smart Zoom feature lets you quickly zoom near an area or subdivision. Select an area or subdivision and then click ZOOM.

To search for “for sale” properties:

Navigate to your desired area or select the “Smart Zoom” button.

Enter criteria options including price, bedrooms, baths, etc. from the slide-in display options menu to the left to control your results.

Click “Only show properties matching the above criteria” to set your options.

“For sale” properties will appear as red pins.

For additional property search options, use our “Advanced Search”.

Discover Recent Sales

Recent sales data* helps you understand recent market activity and pricing.

Look at the lower right hand corner of the map to see the scale⁺.
