We are home.®

There are all kinds of reasons people need to buy or sell a house. Some have a new baby and need more space. Some have an empty nest and are ready to downsize. Some are relocating for a job and moving to or from the area. Some are selling an elderly parent’s home as they go to assisted living, or others may be looking for investment property. All these people have very different objectives and needs as they move through their transition. I enjoy getting to know my clients and tailoring my services to each family’s needs in their particular situation. Because our family moved a lot when our children were young, I am sympathetic to all the stresses and strains a family goes through when in transition, even when that move is a happy, welcome event.

I’m that rare person who actually grew up in Charlotte. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Business (Go Heels!), I worked in banking as well as managing other businesses before launching my career in real estate. My background in operations management means I am careful to keep up with the myriad of details that are involved in moving from offer accepted to closed. During our many moves my husband began calling me the ’moving fairy’ because all the details just miraculously got handled. I aim to do the same for my clients. In addition to helping you find the right neighborhood for your family, I’m happy to be your resource for all things Charlotte. If you need to find a handyman, plumber, or painter, during your move, I’ve got you covered.

I see my job as so much more than just selling houses. I help people manage transitions. If you are considering a life transition that involves real estate, give me a call and let’s explore the possibilities together.
