I grew up in Rockingham, North Carolina and moved to Charlotte to attend college. The original plan was to return home afterward, but Charlotte worked “her magic” on me and became my life-long home. To this day, I love life in Charlotte. I have watched as we have become the largest city in the state while retaining our southern charm with suburbs that keep a “small town,” neighborhood feel.

After a fulfilling career with Bank of America’s investments division, I took early retirement and began doing all the things I enjoyed but never had the time for. My involvement with various volunteer organizations included serving on the board of directors for a local community theater, donating time at Habitat for Humanity, and joining a women’s 4-part harmony barbershop chorus that performed for local garden clubs and nursing facilities.

Little did I know that my next step - working with an auction company - would launch me into a brand-new career of Real Estate. Within the auction company, which handled a considerable amount of land and property sales, I became familiar with the many facets of real estate practice. Conducting background research was something I found that I enjoyed tremendously. Also, the chance to dabble in marketing – creating flyers and such – turned out to be yet another fulfilling part of my role, and a natural stepping-stone to pursuing my real estate license and becoming a full time professional Realtor®.

Now, I enjoy the opportunity to help people find and purchase their dream home, whether it’s their first home or their retirement property!

Real estate is a full-time job and it keeps me very busy. But, when I’m not helping my clients, my truest joy is found in my family, as I cherish the time I spend with my husband, children, and their growing families. We enjoy tennis, boating, fishing, corn hole – all things outdoors!
