Phyllis York Brookshire
President, Allen Tate Realtors®

Much like the American Saddlebred horses she trains and shows, Phyllis York Brookshire was born to be a champion.

After earning a degree in chemistry from the University of North Carolina, Phyllis returned to the family real estate business, York Properties, as vice president, and later, CEO, of the company. When Allen Tate expanded into the Triangle region in 2007, Phyllis was the natural choice to head operations. Today, Phyllis oversees all residential operations and more than 1,500 agents as president of Allen Tate Realtors®.

Phyllis currently serves in leadership positions with the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, the Realtor Foundation of Wake County and the Visual Art Exchange.

Her past community service includes president of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors, dean of the Triangle Realtors Leadership Academy, chairman of the J.C. Raulston Arboretum at N.C. State University; and director of the Triangle United Way.

Phyllis was inducted into Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors Hall of Fame in 2016 and was a Morehead Scholar at UNC-Chapel Hill.
